Crainscleveland.com – What do cyber attacks and the heroin epidemic have in common? Both are nameless, faceless enemies, whose origins often extend well beyond Northeast Ohio and even our national borders. But, there’s a lesser known local connection. A private-public program to combat heroin addiction laid the foundation for its Cleveland-based partners to consider other threats best addressed through similarly structured collaborations. Cybersecurity was the obvious choice, according to Elizabeth Keefer, senior vice president for administration and general counsel for Case Western Reserve University.
